Colour can sometimes feel intimidating, but this session breaks it down into approachable and enjoyable exercises. Looking at artists who use colour in interesting ways, we’ll explore how warm and cool colours can affect the appearance of objects and how colour changes between areas of light and shade.
Working from a still life, you’ll experiment with mixing and placing different colours alongside one another to discover how they influence each other. The workshop is open to all ability levels, including those who are nervous about using colour or have little previous experience. Materials and equipment are provided.
