This seven-session course is an opportunity to spend sustained time exploring the creative possibilities of bookbinding. You’ll learn how to make Perfect Bound books and Hard Back books, while also exploring lino cut and other ways of decorating and personalising your books.
Alongside the practical techniques, we’ll think about books as places to hold and archive the things that matter to us — from memories and recipes to drawings, writings and collected materials. The course is open to all ability levels and will allow you to develop your skills progressively across the seven sessions. All materials and equipment are included.
