Dates: Tue 14th July | 1pm - 4pm
Sometimes the hardest part of drawing is simply making the time for it. This 3-hour session offers space to slow down, observe carefully and develop your confidence through a series of still life drawing exercises.
We’ll explore different approaches to observational drawing, helping you loosen up, experiment with materials and strengthen your drawing practice over the course of the session.
All materials and equipment will be provided, and no previous experience is needed. If you have favourite drawing tools or materials of your own, you’re welcome to bring them along.
You will learn:
Core observational drawing techniques
Ways to loosen your hand and develop confidence with mark-making
How to use line, tone and composition in still life drawing
